A meeting was held with the cadets who scored high marks
A meeting of the State Security Service Board members was held with a group of cadets who graduated from secondary schools of the republic in 2020 and admitted to the Academy of the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan named after Heydar Aliyev showing high results in the entrance exams.
The head of the State Security Service, Lieutenant General Ali Nagiyev, congratulated the cadets, wished them success in education, gave them instructions and recommendations, and spoke about the tasks ahead.
The head of the Service said that being admitted to a special higher education institution named after national leader Heydar Aliyev is an honor for every young Azerbaijani citizen, besides attaching great responsibility. Lieutenant General Ali Nagiyev expressed his confidence that the young people will successfully apply the specific knowledge gained during their education to protect the independence, territorial integrity and security of the country, and will serve the national interests of our country under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Mr Ilham Aliyev.
Speaking at the meeting, the cadets expressed their gratitude to the country's leadership for the development of education in our country, the attention and care shown to young people. They stated that they will continue to work hard to serve the Motherland and will always achieve success in training and education.
Then Lieutenant General Ali Nagiyev presented gifts to the cadets.
It should be noted that the number of cadets who scored 600 points or more in the entrance exams to the special higher education institution of the State Security Service for the 2020-2021 academic year was higher than in previous years, with the highest score being 685.
