Another graduation ceremony was held at the Academy of SSS

On July 3, a solemn event dedicated to another graduation ceremony was held at the Academy of the State Security Service (SSS) named after Heydar Aliyev. The Chief of the SSS Colonel-General Ali Naghiyev, leading employees of the Service, veterans of the security agencies, professors and teachers of the Academy and parents took part in the event.

First, the monument of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev erected on the territory of the Academy was visited and flowers were arranged in front of it. Later, the dear memory of our martyrs who died for the territorial integrity and independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute of silence.

The solemn event continued with the ceremony of presenting the diplomas to the graduates, then the Chief of the SSS Colonel-General Ali Naghiyev made an introductory speech.

Congratulating the graduates on the successful completion of their studies at the Academy named after the honorary head of the security agencies of Azerbaijan, an ingenius Heydar Aliyev, the Chief of the Service expressed his belief that the future officers of the SSS shall serve the Motherland and the people with unwavering loyalty, always be vigilant in guarding the security of our state, fulfill their duties properly in the direction of the successful implementation of the national security concept, which was founded by National Leader Heydar Aliyev and formed in accordance with modern challenges as a result of the invaluable efforts of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev and shall work with all their might for the reliable guarantee of the country's security.

Colonel-General Ali Naghiyev stated that the educational process is being improved year by year for quality education at the Academy, which is equipped with highly qualified personnel and whose material and technical base is continuously updated, and the infrastructure of the special purpose educational institution is being rebuilt in accordance with modern requirements. In addition to the listed factors, a strict selection is made among those who want to acquire the title of cadet at the Academy, within the framework of this process, preference is given only to young people who have a satisfactory level of knowledge and skills, and who promise great potential in the future. As a result of these purposeful measures taken in recent years, the number of cadets entering the Academy with high scores is increasing every year, and they win first place in various knowledge competitions held throughout the republic.

Other speakers of the event expressed their gratitude to the leadership of the SSS and the Academy for the comprehensive conditions created at the Academy for the training of cadets as professional officers, and expressed their pride and honor that their children will serve our state as security agency employees.
