The 100th anniversary of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was celebrated in SSS

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the honorary head of the security agencies of Azerbaijan, the Chief of the State Security Service, Colonel-General Ali Naghiyev and the personnel of the Service visited the Alley of Honor to pay tribute to the national leader of our people, the architect and founder of our modern state, the world-famous political figure - Heydar Aliyev, they commemorated his memory with deep respect, placed wreaths and flowers in front of his grave.

The memory of prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva was commemorated, flowers were placed on her grave.

Later, at the State Security Service (SSS) the book titled “In the memories of the great leader's comrades-in-arms” was presented, which was prepared in connection with the 100th anniversary of the genius leader and which contains the memories of veteran employees who worked with Heydar Aliyev for many years.

The event continued with the presentation ceremony of the documentary film “The General's Plan” produced by “Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting” Closed Joint Stock Company, which tells about Heydar Aliyev's services in protecting national interests from his work in the security organization to the time when he became the head of independent Azerbaijan. Colonel-General Ali Naghiyev, head of the Security Service, employees of the Service, veterans of security agencies, and members of the film's creative team participated  in the event.

After a minute of silence in memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and our martyrs who died for the territorial integrity of our country and the National Anthem, the Chief of the SSS, Colonel-General Ali Naghiyev, made a speech about Heydar Aliyev's service to homeland and people as the founder of the process of nationalization in the security agencies of Azerbaijan, talked in detail about the strategy of statehood and the important work done by the security agencies, specially emphasized that the successful domestic and foreign policy course conducted by the Great Leader has led to the continuous progress of Azerbaijan, and as a result of the successful continuation of this political line by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev, our country has steadily developed and taken its rightful place in the world arena.

The head of the service expressed his confidence that with the documentary film “The General's plan” prepared by Azerbaijan Television on the order of the Ministry of Defense, the audience will have the opportunity to take another look at Heydar Aliyev's life path and get to know more about the unparalleled services he rendered for the sake of Azerbaijan.

Later, the screenwriter of the film, the deputy chairman of “Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting” Closed Joint Stock Company Rufat Hamzayev, the production director of that film, Elnur Mammadov, took the floor and gave extensive information about the film, which clearly demonstrates the unity of the national security concept founded by Heydar Aliyev with the elements of the foreign policy course and shared their opinions about the interesting moments they encountered in the process of making the documentary film.

After the speeches, General-Colonel Ali Naghiyev presented awards to Rufat Hamzayev, the screenwriter of the film, and Elnur Mammadov, the production director.

The event ended with the screening of the documentary “The General's plan”.
